When we arrived about 2:45 p.m., Belle was sitting on a branch above the nest. The intruder was in the nest moving sticks around (nestorations).

A few minutes later, the intruder flew out of the nest and perched on a branch above Belle.



Intruder is on top branch. Belle is below.

A few minutes after this was taken, both eagles took off and flew over the NCTC campus.
They did not return. Liberty was not seen during this 2-hour visit.

    They showed us what we wanted to see.
